Mountain Lakes Festival 5K Walk and Run "That Dam Race" is in it's 2nd year.

This event crosses beautiful Sutton Dam, goes through a trail in the woods, and onto historic Main Street in Sutton.
Be sure to be early, the area will be blocked off to traffic beginning at 8:30 am!
- Entry fee is $15.00
- 8:00 am race day registration for 5K
- 9:00 am "That Dam Race" begins
- First 100 participants get a FREE shirt!

Directions
Shelters 1, 2 and 3 are located at the Sutton Dam. From, I-79, take Exit 62 Sutton/Gassaway. Turn left on SR 4, approximately 2 miles into Sutton. Turn right at the Stop sign, cross the Elk River, and Turn Left to the Dam.
About the Dam Use Area
Swimming beaches are located at the South Abutment and Bee Run Day Use Areas. No lifeguards are provided, so swim at your own risk. There's plenty of hiking and fishing, picnic sites, even camping.
