13th Annual Ups & Downs Bike Race

Description: A 20 mile (13 miles for novice riders) road course starting and finishing at Alderson Memorial Football Field (Alderson Elementary). The race is well organized and Helmets are required.
Awards: Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female for both the 13 and 20 mile events. Also, trophies for the oldest male and female participant.
Entry Fee: 20/13 Miler: $17/$12 pre-registered, $20/$15 race day. Includes race T-shirt and post-race refreshments.
Sponsors: Woods, Water & Wheels and Tri-County Fire Department
Directions: Take exit 151 off I-64 at Alta. Travel approximately 12 miles south to Alderson. Take first right after Little General (just inside city limits). Go to stop sign and take a left.
Alderson 4th of July Celebration spans the entire holiday season from Saturday, June 27 through Sunday July 5 with extensive festivities and events occurring over the holiday weekend.
